Cricket for All

Whether you’re discovering cricket for the first time or already love the game, we make it easy to get involved.

From league cricket and indoor formats to Walking Cricket, disability‑inclusive sessions and school programmes, we work with clubs and schools across Sussex to ensure cricket is accessible, enjoyable, and close to home.

Supporting Every Player and Pathway

We’re proud to champion junior, senior, women’s, girls’, and disability cricket building strong pathways and celebrating success at all levels.

And because cricket isn’t just about competition, we also offer fun, informal ways to play, meet people, and feel part of the community.

It is a privilege to be appointed as the new Chair of the Sussex Cricket Foundation. I am hugely grateful to Ish Jalal who has chaired the board for the last three years.

I am very passionate about the opportunity for people of all ages to participate in sport. Evidence is strong that by being active we will be healthier and have a stronger sense of well-being. As someone who has completed an enjoyable career across several sectors, I have been better able to deal with the stresses and strains by being fit and playing competitively.

Cricket offers so much to young people and adults. Tactics, hand/eye coordination and concentration are some of the skills required. SCF enables the sport to be accessible to such a diversity of young and older people from all parts of Sussex.

We host a wide range of community and fundraising events throughout the year, offering something for everyone. Our calendar is packed with exciting opportunities, including (but not limited to):
