The Sussex Cricket Foundation has launched a new website, providing a dedicated platform to showcase its work across recreational cricket while making it easier for people across Sussex to discover programmes, support fundraising initiatives and get involved.
The new website highlights the Foundation's mission to improve access to cricket and make a positive difference to lives across local communities. Visitors can explore the wide range of programmes delivered by the charity, learn about its impact and find opportunities to support its work.
Players, clubs, volunteers, supporters and community groups can now more easily access information about the Foundation's initiatives, including league cricket, disability cricket and its flagship state-school cricket programme, Breaking Boundaries. The site also features the latest news, success stories and details of fundraising events that help sustain the Foundation's charitable activities.
Dame Shelagh Legrave DL, Chair of Trustees at the Sussex Cricket Foundation, said:
The Sussex Cricket Foundation makes a real difference to so many people's lives through the power of cricket.
"This new website will help us engage even more people, celebrate the successes of our Leagues, Disability Cricket and our latest Breaking Boundaries programme, while also raising awareness of the fundraising events that support this important work."
The website provides a welcoming starting point for anyone interested in taking part in cricket, supporting the Foundation's work or learning more about how the game is helping to bring people and communities together across Sussex.
